Five-Deer River
A river named for the five deer herds that live around it. The river is shallow for the most part and isn't very wide, easily waded and covered in ten or so wolfsteps. The water is clear and fresh, just having come down from the mountains and moves quickly. A few different types of fish live in its waters, mainly salmon. A few stones are littered here and there, but not too many. Slopes on either side lead down to the river, covered in leaves, almost hiding the ground from view. In autumn, the leaves cover the ground a foot thick. A few small trees are found on the slopes, slightly covering the river, but the real forest begins at the top of the slopes were many oak trees can be found.
